[s-cars] Sticky handbrake problem

On me olde and dearly departed 5KCSTQ I had to replace the p-brake cables.
It was nothing more than a Bowden cable really and had corroded so badly
that there was binding between the sheath and the cable right down by the
caliper. Give the cable a wiggle and see if the caliper releases. If so,
I'm all in on the cable being the culprit.

Subject: [s-cars] Sticky handbrake problem

Hi folks,

I have sticky handbrake problem. Passenger side rear pads stick to the
rotor when the handbrake is released. I did the R&R of the release mechanism
at the weekend - emery clothed and greased the spring loaded mechanism. Had
sticking pads this evening on way home from work.

Could it be issue with brake cable where it splits? The callipers are only
two years old so surprised at having to do the R&R so thought it may be the
cable not the calliper.

Appreciate your help.

Tony
