Dave,
Indeed, I really should have!  To be honest I don't have a spot or the
inclination to buy it back for myself, though I'd be happy to entertain
negotiating with AAA for its return from insurance if there was someone here
who wanted to take the whole car and deal with it themselves.  Note I never
did bother to import it so its still registered in the US so it'll be sold
for parts only anyway.
