[s-cars] my '92 failed smog

After squeaking by the HC limit by a point a few years back, I did quite a 
bit of research on this. BTW, this wasn't a problem with my UrS, but a low 
mileage WMB M Roadster (go figure). The UrS always passed with flying 
colors.

A few things that seemed to help lower the HC reading were an oil change 
(reportedly, this makes a big difference), some high speed, extended driving 
(or blowing the crap out aka italian tune up) and a number of people 
reported excellent results with BG 44K (see link below). I'm not a real 
believer in snake oils, but there might well be something to the BG 44K 
claims. People seem to have good results with the product.
