Check your parking place to make sure a small leak didn't leave any
brake fluid. The flexible part of the hose is suspect as well and a
pinhole leak can prevent
the system from holding enough pressure to operate the clutch and
then introduce air in the system. Bleeding at the slave may
temporarily restore operation but
not for long. If someone operates the clutch while you are watching,
you may see the problem.

You should be able to shift gears without using the clutch when
moving, and when stopped with the engine off.
