JC:  I know zero about 200 20vt's other than they came with 3B's.  What I do know about the C4
 UrS4/S6 J17 fuel pump relay is that the ECU controls it's function.  If the ECU does not get the 
appropriate signal from the cam position sensor, it does NOT fire the J17 (via pin 3 on the T55
 connector).  Therefore, your suggestion will not work on a C4 UrS4/S6.  Hence the bypassing of 
the J17 during the fuel pump test.  Here is more detail on what the J17 "Fuel Pump" relay actually
