[s-cars] V8 rear diff swapped to replace the front diff in a 6 speed trans?

I've had a couple interesting emails with a gent who tells
me he is swapping in the V8 Rear diff into the 6 speed (EDU)
tansmissions, says it provides a much better result.

Anybody know anything about this?
