Lee,
We demo'd a Q7 for a day or two last week, and I agree for the most part with your position, but would like to add that having the Side Assist and rear camera is a definite with the rear/side visibility issue being what it is.  Audi had to have known this to have put that system on the car/truck.

Otherwise, it is a great machine, and don't worry, the radio isn't at all that difficult to use on a regular basis.
