[s-cars] Good Deal on New GKN/Löbro Front Axles

I'm sure there's a fair amount of variability.  I've heard of folks running
180k+ miles on the original CV joints.  In my case, both outer front boots
split two S-fests ago at just over 100k miles.  No noise at the time,
so I only replaced the boots along with quick clean & repack.  Wasn't a
bad job at all.  Now my left side is starting to make some fairly noticeable
noise, and car is at 120k miles.  Not sure if it's inner or outer.  Given
the history of a previous torn boot it's possible it's outer, but it doesn't
become more noticeable when turning, so maybe inner.  Who knows, and at $169
for whole axle, who cares.  And it's less effort than changing an
individual CV joint.
