Thanks John, I'll try your suggestions next time I leave the car outside for another test.

One more thought: since you get the 4411 code, you might try pointing the hair dryer at the #1 injector. Could be brittle insulation on that connector as well. Bitter cold sucks. We've had some -16 Celsius mornings here in Boulder. That's only one degree warmer than your 0F. My cruise control doesn't work when it's this cold.

Jerry, after reading all the responses to this thread, it sounds like
brittle/cracked/stressed insulation on your CPS wires could be the
cause. For grins, next time it wont start and it's that cold, try the
opposite of the water suggestion; point a hair dryer down the belt cover
for a few minutes and see if it will start. My hunch is that the heat
would soften the insulation and temporarily solve the issue. If so, a
new CPS seems like a good idea. If not, well my hunch proves wrong. =)

My 93 has had the same no-start problem, the same 4411 code, but only in
very cold weather, near 0 F.
When I checked the ignition system, I got no spark, but plenty of fuel
pressure. It later starts as it warms to 15 or 20 degrees. I have never
found the problem.
