I saw/read something/somewhere (I want to be specific here :) that on the west 
coast, people are stripping the wiring out of abandoned buildings, new building 
still under construction, even dying trying to steal it out of high tension 
power stations, to sell the copper to metal salvage/recyclers, who turn around 
and ship it to Asia to help their copper shortage due to their building boom to 
satisfy their upwardly mobile people.
