And if using a virtualization product such as Parallels or Fusion  
isn't close enough, Apple offers users the ability to boot into either  
OS X (ad use the VM stuff there), or boot directly into the OS of your  
choice, such as XP or Vista.

The performance of a Mac running a Windows variant natively (i.e.  
booting directly into it) is astounding, reported to be faster than on  
what would be considered a very fast PC. Apocryphal note: some  
Microsoft employees are reputed to be using Macs from which all  
vestiges of OS X have been removed, as the preferred Windows platform,  
since they are so fast.
