[s-cars] Intro and stalling thread...

I am pleased to see that Jamu is a Mac user. I knew that boy had
promise. :-)
But, are you really sure making a Mac work exactly like a PC is good?

I agree that the Mac users story at Microsoft does not have much
basis in fact. I
would expect to find the only advantage over an adequately designed
PC laptop
is in graphics, and only because they tend to go cheap. That
advantage lessens
in higher end PC models. If the Microsoft employees want a real
difference, they
need to run OSX, since the real problem with a PC is the inefficiency
of Windoze
itself

I am totally with you Ian, on the advantages of using a Mac, although
my G5
models operate just fine, especially since I don't gum up the works
with Windoze.
This leaves me to wonder why someone would try to screw up a great
machine by
putting windows on it. :-)

That leaves me to postulate that what your group really needs is a
moderately
priced PC that will natively run OSX. Then you have a great
operating system
with hardware you can cheaply discard and replace, doesn't make such a
big target for thieves, nor generate all the envy from fellow
passengers or workers.
