Tom,
Sorry for not being so complete on my post. I usually don't post
unless I know something for certain. In this case I bought my '92
through '97 Audi 100, A6 Official Factory Repair Manual probably in
2001. Powered by eBahn. It includes the S4, S6, Quattro, and wagon
(through 1998 m.y.). Since the information hasn't changed and the
software was/is simple, I didn't think they'd re-do it. But when you
stated your Rev #2.5 really surprised. My version is 00.10 (!) and
is compatible with Mac. I was wrong in that it doesn't run in OSX
technically. It was designed for Mac OS 8.5 or later, so on my
machine runs on Classic 9.
Since the information didn't change, I would be interested in
learning a bit more about the newer versions. My super early version
explains why I have been able to use my copy it. I haven't even
looked at my original in years until you asked more about my post.
Mine did come with a serial number, but that's about it. Just in
case my version is still available the ISBN 0-8376-0770-1, Literature
No. W42 CD-ROM AU C4 00.10, Editorial Closing 10.00. Bentley Stock
No. EAC4.
Didn't mean to mislead anyone on what is available now.
