bob,
the CPS from the group buy doesn't have wires long enough to reach the harness, and the wires disappear into plastic at the CPS end. you have to splice somewhere. there isn't really a choice, unless you want put the plug behind the timing cover (and i don't think there's room).

Everyone is assuming there is a splice job. If I was doing this I
would
get new connectors, crimp them onto the new CPS leads, pop the old
wires
out of the connector housing, and insert the new ones into the now
vacated connector housing. I avoid splices if at all possible.
