If anybody is interested in a torsen diff I have one in my basement I picked up ~ 3 years ago and never installed.? IIRC Mr. Bob Pastore sourced it along with one for Igor.? Speaking of Igor, anybody hear from him since he left for?mother Russia?

regards,

Mark

I don't recall an EDL switch on my 95.5 UrS. If you have a '93 100, it
has a locking rear diff (quattro II) and pressing the rear diff switch will
disable the
3 channel (both rear wheels same channel) ABS. Just like my friend's
100CSQA.

In late 95(.5) Quattro III has no mechanical rear diff lock, 4 channel
ABS, and it utilizes the independent rear channels to approximate
a locking rear diff, hence Electronic Differential Lock (EDL). Aside from
the
better braking under stress, EDL sucks. Hence the idea of the Torsen
conversion.
