[s-cars] wheel package ?

Yes... tramlining is an important issue to consider when thinking about "plus" wheel sizes... as it seems to get worse with larger wheels and less sidewall.

The 255's work fine for me, but I did install camber plates... not so much for camber adjustments, but to be able to increase the caster.? Results of this were very good, with minimal tramlining on all but the worst roads.

Dave,?
?
I'd agree with your tire sizing...or maybe 245/40/17 which may give less tramlining.?
?
225s are too small on an 8" rim.?
?
And unless I were driving on smooth roads in SoCal I would not run 18s.?
?
There is a lot of controversy over whether larger wheels actually provide better handling. I believe that the 17" size actually gives the optimal balance between handling, ride, looks, etc. And the suspensions on the C4 were designed to work with the give that a sidewall on a 16" tire provides. You go too stiff and you're not working with the suspension and the natural sway of Miss Piggy.?
