It's easy to do the timing belt
My S-car is currently in bits doing the job (waiting for the correct  
fanbelt, they sent me the wrong one)
You DON'T need the special tools! Yay!
Make a crank locker (3256 tool) by cutting a 85mm length of 50mm box  
section steel and welding an angl iron 'leg' around 500mm onto it. The  
27mm socket will fit through it. I jacked the car up, put the 'tool'  
into the front pulley and let the car down till the leg touches the  
floor sufficiently to allow me to swing on the length of pipe you need  
to break/redo the torque.
