Confirmed the issue with my car is the CPS. Cleared the codes (is there
an easier way to do this than pulling the fuse near the ECU? Seems like a
lot of work to just clear the codes.) And drove the car until I got the
check engine light again. Dumped codes and just the 2113 (CPS) code. No
other codes.
Shut the car down and attempted to restart. No joy. Took some water and
poured down the back of the timing belt cover over the CPS. Car started
right up.
What is odd, on the way back home, check engine light came back on, as
expected. But as I continued home, the CE light went back out on it's
own. Once home, shut the car down, and tried to restart, car started
right up! Odd. Still plan on replacing it, as long as the timing belt,
water pump, etc..
