Have no comment on cracked heads, but may have something on Headliner  
adhesive.
The only stuff I have found specifically for re-attaching headliners  
is "Performance High Temp Trim Adhesive."

Whilst I have a can in the Rosattobin(tm)... of course I have yet to  
use it.   Highly flammable and harmful vapor it has.  Perfect!
