I do not have a spare radio, but I do have a cd remote changer minus the CD
loader (they are easily available) that will fit her car. I bought it for
my 94, but it does not fit. I will let it go reasonably.

Hey Guys,
I was curious if anyone had any suggestions for a reputable shop or shade
tree to do an AAN cylinder head swap out on a '95 S6? I picked up a P&P'd
head from Weldo a few months back, he completely rebuilt it as well w/ all
new hardware. It seems the valve stem seals may be leaking on the current
head, it smokes from the tail pipe a lot from a dead stop and when idling
for a long period of time. IIRC those are some signs the seals are
going/done. I'd supply all of the parts, gaskets, head studs/nuts, beer,
etc.
Figured since the cams, etc. have to come out to replace the seals I may as
well go the distance and install the new head and do a TB replacement as
well. It is a little beyond my experience to do the swap myself, however I
would be an eager apprentice if a shade tree wanted to make a few bucks and
teach a noob some tricks. Otherwise if there is a reasonable, trustworthy
shop around you guys have had good luck with it would be appreciated if you
could forward their info.
Thanks in advance for any help and/or advice.
Kind Regards,
Chris

Friend of mine with a '95.5 S6 (red, if it matters), needs a new Bose
radio. Her's is dying.
Anybody have a good spare Bose radio? A Delta CC.
Please drop me a note offlist if you do, otherwise I'll point her to
the usual suspects (Chris).
Thanks,
Lee

Randy - very nice of you. I'll take 'em both so they match.
Here's my info: Tom Winter, 501 13th St. Boulder, Co 80302 USA.
I'm happy to pay for shipping. But if you don't need/want anything please
include your address so I can send a ski/snowboard box 'o swag. If you ski
or snowboard, even better, let me know and I'll include things like goggles.
If you avoid the snow, it will have more generic items, like T's and
beanies.
Thanks again,
Tom

If all else fails unplug the battery for the right amount of time and then
plug it back in at the correct time to match the clock. I know it is
definitely a temporary fix, but it will do in a pinch.

Bill,
Sometimes it's finicky to set. I usually have to have the IC panel dimmer
set to max brightness before I pull and twist to right to get clock moving.
Just keep pulling and twisting and I'm sure something will happen. Whether
it's with the clock or not I can't guarantee.

"If all else fails unplug the battery for the right amount of time"
Thanks!
Now this is an original and great thought.. Good through October?
I'm gonna go with this. Who knows maybe by next time change the reset
dial will start to work again?
Crazy thing.
Speaking of which my RR tail light had burned out (supposedly) but a
new lamp didn't work either. WT heck, the LR light is working fine?
Turns out to be blown fuse as left side is one fuse, right side
another. Audimazing.
