[s-cars] radio needed (correction)

I have been considering ditching my Gamma for a while.  Does the radio 
code stay with the car or go with the head unit?  If you sell a head 
unit, should the code card go with it?  I know the code is useless with 
an aftermarket head unit.

I have yet to find a head unit I like that has the proper color red 
display or I'd have done this long ago.  Suggestions?  I'm partial to 
Alpine but not completely loyal.
