[s-cars] NAC - Vette parts sources?

There aren't any big vette shops in NYC or Boston. Is Callaway still in
Connecticut?
Most of the vette stuff is in the midwest:
Mallett is in Ohio
Lingenfelter is in Indiana
Mid-America in Illinois
There really isn't much in the way for doing stuff to a '79 vette- those
late C3s were the nadir of performance. You need to do an engine swap or a
major rework to get real power out of those cars and the suspension was
basically the same as the C2- not much to write home about there. You could
look into doing a full subframe swap from a C5 or C6 or go full
double-wishbone coilover setup, depending on your budget.
IMHO, not worth doing much of anything to an impact bumper C3.
