Scott, et. al.,
Great job of reporting on the SS Pizzomenti! And, indeed you are the man
for covering 1600 miles of pavement. It could be argued that you also
wanted to pound the gofast red, Coupe GT. You'll have another opp the end
of August or ride shotgun/co-drive the red pig.
Wow! "This really blew my mind. The fact that me, an overfed long haired
leaping gnome" should share a table nine with such S Car HOF Royalty.
Oh, and Paully too. Now I know why he keeps Jennifer squirreled away
during sfest too. Too hot!;)
The Pastore's and Mahoney's were forced into a 90 minute private prequel
reception at the local Irish Pub which set the stage for the six hours of
food and music and dancing and entertainment to come. MaryAnne has whipped
Uncle Bob into shape and he is now training for the TourDeFrance I believe.
WRT the festivities,
Did we mention there was food. Words cannot describe.
Food, followed by more food and then no less than 150 feet of dessert table.
Might have been 200. Dunno. Everything imaginable from popcorn to cotton
candy. Wow!
I was a little nervous about the pizzoh preparation for nuptials, but IIRC
by the end of the night Alice was directing Joe passing out parting gifts to
everyone and he was smiling like a baby. Go figure;)
I am now making myself available for all Eyetalian weddings.

Paulie
I don't think either of our prose could describe the Pizzo affair, that was
a reception to top all. From appetizers that would best a high end banquet
(prior to dinner), the Pope blessing certificate (now that's connected
Pizzo!) to the over the top performance of dancer extraordinaire Uncle Louis
and his better-than-original kareoke of "Amoree". Paulie I believe Guido
is still seeking you out for absconding with the camera's Bill and I thought
were lifted. A great time by table 9 was had by all, maybe Bill and I won't
need to travel 1600miles since we live only 7 apart.... Pictures, prose or
talk could never describe the btdt experience, absolutely the best
celebration of love I'm still in disbelief was Pizzo's. I humbly bow to the
new Don!
The midnight wrap-up proved too little for me, and after handing my keys to
some guy I wasn't sure I'd get anything back for (the lack of a ticket
seemed odd to me), I took a cab ride to downtown Manhattan to hook up with a
good friend at a local hotspot. After watching the woofers in the floor
create sunamis in my scotch for a couple hours, I did my best catch and
release, the two young hot corporate atty's we managed to get on hook, left
them both to my host as they continued dancing on top of the bar. We
midwestern folk aren't used to this much over the top. I do thank Dr.
Garmin and his whiz-bang Nuvi 200w for not embarrassing my Rally driver
roots, and getting my butt out of downtown and pointed westward unscathed.
Back in Chicago by 6 last night, somewhat exhausted, but glad I didn't miss
*the* party, and to share it with Bill and Paulie and their wonderful gals
was like we were just together last week.... To my favorite brother Bob P
and his new bride, to see that kind of love from you two makes me believe
all will be well for me soon! First thanks to Pizzo, you topped the top my
eye-talyian friend. To table 9q, thanks for making me feel being the odd
guy out at the party, didn't feel that way in the least!
Fireworks over the ice sculpture?! Priceless Pizzo!
Cheers

Morning Gals-
....
Afterward I headed down to NY for Pizzonuptials - oh my can Uncle Bob cut
some rug... who knew? Same goes for Baloney, while me I was more keen on
embarrassing them on the internet. The EYEtalian food spread *shamed* a
cruise dining experience - insane. We failed to manage sufficient Torsen
nor Anti-Seize convo which forced Scotty Justasson to prove just how screwed
up in noggin he is... drove out Fri. night w/ 4hr pitstop straight to the
wedding, partied all night, met friend @ NY bar, 1hr power nap, he was in
Ohio by the time we reached our exit in CT yesterday. WTF???
Anywho... congrats Pizzo, report back when you return from Aruba. Let us
know if you find Natalie Holloway or anything.
