[s-cars] windshield wipers

Patrick;

You can buy a programmable relay for the windshield wipers. Its made by
Bosch and just plugs in where the stock relay is. I've done this
modification on every VW and Audi I've owned.

Its been a while, but the relay is located under the driver kick panel, it
should be position 11.

The relay works like this. Turn the stalk switch to intermittent for a
specified period of time, say 3 seconds, then turn off. Turn on again and it
will rememorize the interval and wipe, in this case 3 seconds. I think it
will do a range of 2-15 seconds. I think it resets itself when the car is
re-started.

The Bosch part number is 0 986 335 058 and the Audi part number is 3B0 955
531.
