[s-cars] Snow tire shopping, blizzak vs Nokian vs? thoughts?

I switched from Blizzaks to Nokians about 10 years ago. I live in the
MTNS, we get between 250-350 inches every winter, so I am always driving
in the snow.
After 3 sets of Hakka 2 and 4 studded, I bought WR's for the URS6A a
couple months back. 225/50 V rated and I am going to try to keep them on
all winter.
The WRs have been good in the rain, dry and have a better turn in than the
Hakkas (expected as my Hakkas were 215's).
On the mud they are also good, grip is not as good as the Hakkas, but that
was expected. We have had three small storms under 6 inches and the tires
were fine.
The question I asked myself: do I want an overkill snowtire all the time?
Or one that will do everything good?
The Hakkas studded are such a great snow tire and with Quattro almost
overkill. I decided to go with the WR's as I am on the highway in the dry
50% of the time.
We will see if they handle the other 50% of the time I am in the deep
stuff. I may end up switching my tires three times this year if I don't
like them (summer, mid winter and deep winter).
