[s-cars] Snow tire shopping, blizzak vs Nokian vs? thoughts?

I love my overkill studded hakkas and the supreme traction/confidence in
deep snow I find myself in, especially on long trips in the north-northeast.
..RSI's would be my go to tire if unstudded and 17" was wanted.

Another flavor you might want to consider is www.greendiamondtire.com .. My
only gripe is the sizing,, no 17's yet,, but for my veggie jetta on 14"
teardrops, theyre perfect, and just may have better bite in ice that even
newly studded hakkas. Theyre also a lot more stable on dry ground than studs
of course. And, as a bonus for an opinionated guy like me who appreciates
smaller companies and products made in this country, green diamond is just
that.
