[s-cars] Deer (and other objects on the road) stories

Not that we need to create more of these but the deer and moose  
stories have been... ah, interesting.  I actually laughed at the  
moose story.

John, so glad you were able to miss your friend.  Scary stuff having  
a person on the road in the mist of chaos like that.

My deer story is not so scary as it is crazy.  I was moving back to  
Colorado after going to school in New Mexico for a couple of years.   
On my way back, driving along in the Budget rental truck with my 97S6  
in tow on a car carrier.  There I was minding my own business, when I  
saw the doe on the left side of the road.  She stayed as I was  
driving past she bolted right into the side of the truck.  Her head  
hit the side panel between the rear tire and the rear bumper.   You  
could see the nose print and the hair on the side of the truck.  The  
impact somehow spun her around and her hind quarters hit my front  
left fender shoving it back about 3/4" while caving in the fender.

I couldn't even protect my baby on a car carrier.  The only other  
vehicle on the road was a lady following me.  She stopped to check on  
me and to give me her info incase the insurance wanted a witness.   
She couldn't believe it either.  State Farm was cool and I didn't  
need a witness.
