[s-cars] LS2 Coil System Update

There are at least four people developing a "LS2" coil-based coil system. At least four people are
working on this, e.g. Chris Chambers (fastscirroco), Charles L. (Lloyd21), Tom A. (450exc115)
and me. The wiring is easy based on this early post:

http://forums.audiworld.com/s4s6/msgs/229992.phtml

The connector issue is easy - either new connectors with wires and pins for about $10 each or
buying used off eBay or a wrecker (8 coils with connectors have been scored for under $100).
New coils, e.g. D585 Yukons can be had for around $20 each. (That's what I bought - because of
the heat sinks, however, the D514A coils look easier to mount)

The only issues being worked on is mounting the coils and the spark plug wires, i.e. 7A or 3B. 3Bs
can, in theory, be ordered individually and they sit lower but 7A are easier to get ahold of. 034 says
they can supply custom wires. I am dealing with Aurora Wires who are local to me.

I have my coil mounting 90% thought through and have all the wiring bits do complete the job in an
afternoon. I just have to get a couple more things done on my "Honey-do" list first. ;>)

Maybe Chris can give us his update.
