[s-cars] voltage regulator

I had a quick question about voltage regulator replacement. I have a early
1995 S6 (assuming with the 110 amp alternator) and wanted to know what
replacement is the best. I have seen the hella 14.1 and the huco 14.6
regulators that people have used. Has anyone used these higher voltage
regulators, and if so is the extra voltage safe or should i stick with a
stock regulator voltage of 14.
