[s-cars] For Participants in the 2004 "RS2" turbo GB

Sounds like this has been confirmed already, but I will pipe in since I put
the RS2 turbo GB together back in 2004 when I had my S6 RS2'D by Tim at TJM
Motorsports (also Northern European) in NH. At the time he was just
starting with Dalback racing and had the ability to get the Turbos through
his connection in Sweden. We had a special run and I recall it took an
extra couple months

When I sent the email to the list there was huge demand, as the price was
low and supply of RS2's at the time was low. IF I recall it was like $900.

BTW, I did have one of the studs go on my turbo after 120K miles.

All parties involved have impeccable credentials and the turbos came
from the same production line as the Audi part. They are genuine
factory
parts, just not labeled for the VW/Åudi parts system which is a
packaging
issue that make it not a genuine Audi part.

We do this all the time with parts. I buy the Bosch parts by Bosch
number
and without the Audi part # or logo when I buy spark plugs, O2 sensors,
POS, and fuel and oil filters, because they are identical parts
without the
additional markup of another middleman supply layer.

I don't need the rings on my turbo any more than I need Calvin Klein's
name on my shorts.
