Do nothing.

This is probably one of the best repair tips available for many  
DIY'ers.  Don't
do anything until you are sure something needs to be done and you  
know how
to do it.  For that wisdom, the list is indebted.

Oh, yeah, you need to overcome that guy thing about it's unmanly to  
ask directions. :-)
