Brett - I can be OK with your statement except for CHANGE in pump sound - if
it's always been quiet as a graveyard but suddenly starts to buzz like a
hornets nest I'd be worried. I had Saabs that always had a lound
whizzwurrrbuzz when standing around the back of the car and it was totally
normal. But every time I've known a pump get significantly more noisy over a
very short period, it's been a very bad sign.
