Just a small interjection on the brake issue.  My little brother called me
two days ago after fighting a similar issue on his Chevy van for over two
weeks.  He went thru the entire progression, but the caliper would still not
release.  It turned out that the brake hose had a pinch (inside the crimped
fitting) that allowed pressure to get out to the caliper, but did not allow
for it to fully return once the pedal had been released.  He replace this
line and everything was perfect after another bleed.  I know it a rare and
kind of freaky situation, but I thought it was worth sharing since I had
never heard of such a thing!
