Fellow S-Heads,

About 3 weeks ago I received an email from Jaguar offering a chance to drive
their 510HP cars at the Autobahn road course in Joliet, Illinois.? I thought
the email was a joke but the price was right - free!? I signed up and it was
real - I went last Friday.? I've decided I like 510HP supercharged sedans
and coupes, even if they are automatics.? The program was 2 hours in length,
the first hour was a talk and video on the cars, the second hour was street
drive followed by 3 laps on the track, 2 by me and 1 by the instructor.? 2
of the instructors as I recall were Roberto Guerrero and Davy Jones.? BTW,
the sound of 510HP V8 off idle is just great!!

In case you get a similar email, it is real.
