Dave,
I think Andrew is looking for the maximum difference in tread depths (as in
to not stress quattro with rotational differences) rather than what the
minimum recommended tread depth.
I don't recall (without looking at the manual) how much difference is
allowable, but for snowies, if I don't start the season with at least 6/32,
I'm probably going snow tire shopping, as it gets really snowy around here.
