[s-cars] Newly coiled + thoughts.

One of my cheaply bought Toshiba POS's lived up to it's name on Friday and
completely zonked out on the 4 and 5 cylinders.
So, whilst I acquired the Apikol coil kit last summer, being typical, I
didn't get around to installing until, well, yesterday when I had to.  I
prefer to work in a chilled garage.
Anyhoo, install was a piece O cake.
Impressions?  Engine for sure runs more smoothly, particularly when going
off throttle and idle is rock steady at about 970 rpms. It's a noticeable
difference.
How long these 1.8t coils last remains to be seen, but at $23ea., I'll pack
in a couple of spares for now.
Anywaze, many thanks to the coil upgrade inventor, pioneers out there (Dave
Forgie?) for this alternative.

PS  Now that the Pig is back in dd svc., so are the grins / mile.  I' m
gonna install cinder blocks in the rear for launch control.
PSS  Pandora internet radio via iPhone is a hoot.  Like Sirius/XM  but FREE
with no additional tuner necessary.
