[s-cars] Clutch pedal rests too low

Depending on the mileage of the cars, it may means a failing clutch, more
specifically a few "pressure fingers" (or whatever they're supposed to be
called really) are gone and, IME, a few more will go shorlty which means
you'll have to go through the floor to declutch... or replace the clutch.

Now, that's obviously the last thing you want to try since it's the most
expensive. Could also be as simple as air in the line, but no BTDT, so I
don't know if the symptoms fit with an air bubble in the master to slave
cylinders line.

Objet : [s-cars] Clutch pedal rests too low

Hello to everybody! I just became an S-car owner again! :)

Yesterday, I picked up a new-to-me '94 S4. The clutch pedal sits about 2"
lower than the brake pedal, and I have to push it all the way in to make the
clutch release. It will grip again less than 1" from the floor, otherwise
feels normal. I can't pull the clutch pedal any higher, but remembering my
previous S4 and my dad's 100, the brake and clutch pedals should rest at the
same height.

Does anyone know what could be wrong?
