[s-cars] Clutch pedal rests too low

There is not a large range of adjustment on the clevis, but any error in
cylinder rod length will be magnified by the length of the pedal arm. The
clutch cylinder rod length (cylinder face to centre of clevis pin hole)
should be 109.5 mm +/- 0.5 mm. I'd check that measurement first, as well as
the part number on the clutch cylinder - make sure it's the right part.

Not sure, but sounds like the clevis was not adjusted properly when the
slave was replaced.
Someone with experience on this might be able to comment on the likelyhood
of the adjustment range having that much effect, but if the clutch functions
properly I would try adjusting the rod in the clevis.

Cheers and welcome back to the fold,

Hello to everybody! I just became an S-car owner again! :)

Yesterday, I picked up a new-to-me '94 S4. The clutch pedal sits about 2"
lower than the brake pedal, and I have to push it all the way in to make the
clutch release. It will grip again less than 1" from the floor, otherwise
feels normal. I can't pull the clutch pedal any higher, but remembering my
previous S4 and my dad's 100, the brake and clutch pedals should rest at the
same height.

Does anyone know what could be wrong?
