Good thought. I'm going out to flush/bleed the entire brake fluid system now and will check the rings on all corners.

Entirely different vehicle but very similar problem turned out to be a broken sensor ring on a rear axle.?
Toyota Highlander with 70Km if anyone comes across this on their travels.?

This list is so great! > Well - I was seriously depriving some village of its idiot! The light issue is solved. Not the pedal issue - just the light. The brake fluid reservoir level was right at the seam which is just slightly above the "min' mark, which was enough to trigger the light. A jigger more brake fluid and no more light while driving.?

The anti-lock system works fine on ice and snow, and I still get 44 pumps to hard pedal after shutdown. The hydraulic and brake fluids are at or slightly above their respective marks both running and stopped.?
