I don't see any reference for replacing the bolt, and I don't believe  
it is stretched to yield.  But, the manual doesn't cover lots of  
problems uncovered by our long term use, i.e., the pulley  
gear.         You don't get much better references than you just got  
on this list.

As difficult as some bolts are to remove, they could have been over- 
torqued, but by monkey-man, not any monkey-boy.
