[s-cars] Trunk won't open. Glad to be back!

I've had the trunk seal on my S6, um, seal pretty tightly. So maybe it
just needs a little more tugging.
Does the button feel like it's moving the linkage when you push it, or
is it just feel like it's attached to nothing?
When you unlock/lock with the remote, do you hear any movement at the
trunk?
Which way did you turn it when you tried unlocking it with the key? You
have to turn it counter clockwise until the key is about 45 degrees from
horizontal to unlock. It tends to stick a bit so keep working the key
until you get it in the right position.
These are another of those use it or lose it things. Once/if you get it
opened you may want to consider taking the lock out and disassembling
and relubing the mechanism. Be careful when disassembling the lock
mechanism as there are little, itsy, bitsy 1mm ball bearings that act as
the detents at the various positions in the movement by riding in a
track with some small holes spaced around it. I haven't actually taken
the one on the S6 apart, but did disassemble the one on the Corrado -
which I assume is a similar mechanism. Had one of the ball bearings
drop on the floor in the garage and after a long, long, long search I
lucked out and found it.
