The jump doesn't work. The frogs will stay on with the high beams with the
jump, but will not function independent of the lows, IOW, won't function
with the p-lights only. BTDT.
As for HID frogs, not sure if I'd go that route, unless you can get a fairly
low (less than 4300 K color temp) temp capsule. From what I understand from
www.danielsternlighting.com , the higher temps (white, not the kid
preferred blue) are stressful for the eyes, leading to eye fatigue, which is
the last thing you'd want in low vis situations. Bob, have you considered
the high efficiency + type bulbs? They seem to work wonders in the Saabaru's
admittedly MUCH better than Audi factory Hella Micro DE's (making it the
preferred vehicle in low vis situations).
