[s-cars] intermittently no electricity

I hear you guys on the switch.  I don't have my wiring diagram in front 
of me right now, but here's some stuff I should have said earlier...

When it was doing whatever it was doing, I flipped the headlight switch 
up.  I didn't get out to actually look at the parking lights, but the 
dash lights remained off.  Would a failing switch cause that scenario?

Then I tried to turn on some equipment in my trunk.  I have a computer 
and an amplifier that draw power directly from the 
so-conveniently-located battery, but the remotes for those are powered 
from a terminal under the steering wheel.  Like I said, misplaced my 
diagram, but I think that's the 30 terminal?  31?  Can't remember.  It's 
the terminal that's tied to the ~8awg wire coming from battery 
positive.  Whatever I chose, I chose it because it's unswitched and that 
equipment does run without the key, but didn't this afternoon.  So would 
that rule out the ignition switch?
