There are 2 spring clips on the SIDES near the windshield (front). Two
plastic prongs on the rear engage the roof liner. If the metal trim that
lines the roof liner opening is not well formed, the springs might get hung
up and make lowering the panel difficult. I suggest a right-angle 'dental'
tool to release the spring.

I'm currently in the process of re-gluing the springs...again. They are held
in place with a melted stud and don't survive the extreme heat my red S4
soaks-up here in the Mojave desert.
