Wow Brett - Failtastic?  you're starting to sound like me.  Not good 8-).

I agree w/ you on B6's but moreso on the sedan.  IMO the Avant is rather pleasing, just about acceptable.  I sorta prefer the nose over the Bugs Bunny Buck Tooth (BBBT) front end of the B7's, it's rather exasperated on the B chassis IMO, more acceptable on - say - a D3.

I've not driven one mit tip, but a 4.2 coupled mit Tip - well - that I'm well school'd in.  Mine is not at all offensive <<<BUT>>> it's also a few lbs. lighter (I'm near pos) oh and 20hp stronger.  So maybe it slouches a bit in the B'er.  Dunno - why don't you go JNR one / report back yes?  Thanks.

In 'this' (B'er Avant'er) vain...  any interest in *THE* cleanest '01 stick Avant ~ 100k all everything just done (NEW PS2's / brakes / tbelt / etc. / etc. / etc.)???  Silver / black, new Xe's mounted (not due to wreck but due to wear), one owner, bone stock...  just fookin' CLEAN.  I'll post separately, but, I know these cars have near stalker-like cult following (IMO/E).  Email / call me, I'll get you in touchski.
