Not much steel left except for the intricate cage that he did.
As for why he's doing it, why not? It hasn't been done before & he
has made the requisite aero mods as well to make it move across the
salt. It's an insane piece of engineering. Dry sump, liquid to air
intercooler, really trick high rpm shortblock, basically every old
racing trick in the book. It's a Mitsubishi oin name only at this
point.
Deride it all you want. Fact of the matter is, it takes huge cojones
to drive anything 200mph, much less building a car basically from
scratch for it. It takes significantly less cojones to make cute
little analogies from behind a keyboard.
