[s-cars] Snow tires again

The *rumor* is that the General Artic Altimax is the Gislaved Nordfrost 3
(previous gen of the current Nordfrost 5, BTW, the 3 is also a studdable,
traditional snow). After reading the reviews on TireRack, and Consumer
Reports, I went for them, even if their compound isn't the same as the
Nordfrost 3, since they still seem subjectively (well CU wouldn't be
subjective, where it placed a very, very close 2nd to the Michelin Ice-X)
excellent in their winter performance, and I'm not doing Rally-X or Ice-X
competition. For Taka's purposes, they'd be way too aggressively snow
biased, the tread pattern appears to be the same, and it's a good old
traditional full-on snow. The tire Taka would want (this is from Gislaved's
website) is the Nordfrost 2, but Greg Galinsky assured me that they aren't
available in the U.S. Yup, we're screwed again.
Taka, you seemed to be pretty happy with the Dunlop Wintersport M2's that
were on your A4. Why not go for the M3? It still way undercuts the WR-G2 in
terms of price, and you don't really need the All-Season transition period
anyway.
