Thanks for the BTDT Doug, I considered just replacing the glass, but I'd
rather use it a last resort at this point as if my better half sees me
disassembling the doors she might be less than enthused. Time for a dose of
elbow grease and "the carbonated liquid wrench"...>>>
This was gonna be my input Abe. Nothing that can't be fixed by two or 7 Blue Yummies.
We did just tackle 'this' on the //SFest Targa Martini a week prior to ze Fest, operation: Purple Haze.
It was baaaaaaaaad and had to be ridst. No heat, lots of windex, razor blade on a 'handle', elbow grease, liiiiiberal Carbonated Liquid Wrench, citrus based goo remover, and time. Oh and it helped having a pair 'o close Jamaican friends on hand (no, srsly)... they dove in like Ninjas and were unflappable.
Great to hear you're out there in the Avant. Doing us all proud, viva urBill.
Bummer on da Man, lame. I roll mine down when I see them here (10% is daaaaaaark, esp against silver). Course w/ the barracks 3mi away that's 200x/wk. I think they're used to me? With 2-3 of them having kids in sports/scouts with mine in town and I coach etc, it could be good... or bad.
Speaking of bummer, I entered the ramp yest to commute a crisp early a.m / sun-at-the-back / light traffic / likely last of season 930 jaunt... only... to (literally) merge with the travel lane to be mirror to mirror w/ Oink. For my *entire* commute.
<<<BUZZKILL>>> (Buzzier kill is this honestly occurs at least 1x/mo no matter when I depart - the jig is up?)
anywhoo
-Paul
