No jailbreaking needed, no spendy AT&T contract amendment needed.

Tethers over Bluetooth, so I don't see how you could share it across  
more than one laptop without some fancy Dan stunt like: iPhone  
<Bluetooth tether> laptop w/Internet connection sharing <ad-hoc wifi>  
other laptops. Rots-o-ruck with that.
