Tom et.al.,
That reminds me that I did inspect the ECS brackets that were replaced a
couple few years ago. One of the old ones had split and ECS replaced them.
The new ones, while still aluminum, are bigger than the old ones. I suppose
I would be a player for steel RS2 or Apikol or 034 brackets should some turn
up for a reasonable $.
Since I had Rosattood these rotors so long ago and forgot how much they
cost; the way I see it now, they are free. And, the Textar pads IIRC I got
from some close out for maybe $65ish. I see now ECS offers rotor rings for
$244 / side and with hats for $565 I think. Prices like this demand buying
way in advance in order to erase any memory of the transaction, ...a self
delusional trick on the Lunatic Audi Fringe Orbit (LAFO)tm.
Another day or two of moderate stopping and it's time to bed these new
stoppers. I love the smell of burning pad material in the morning.
